Function
The SURA tool allows you to reload the latest version of software that is available for your ALCATEL device.

SUA & SURA - Installation Instructions

- Once you have downloaded the SURA tool above, double click on the install package.
- Select “I accept the agreement”, then Click “Next"
- Confirm the install location and click “Next”.
- Confirm the location and name of the Start Menu folder, or select "Don't create a Stat Menu folder" and click “Next”.
- Select if you would like a desktop icon created then click “Next”.
- Confirm all your above choices are correct and click “Install”.
- Once you have clicked “Install” auto install process will begin.
- Once the software installation has completed, click “Install” to install the latest Android USB drivers.
- Once the installation process has completed you may click "Finish" to exit the installer application.
SUA – How-to Instructions
- Double click “ALCATEL Software Update Assistant” icon on the desktop, or search for the ALCATEL Software Update Assistant application.
- Wait as the tool checks for the latest updates.
- Complete the following instructions with your device.
- Plug your device into your computer.
- Choose “System update” as the USB mode.
- Click “NEXT”.
- Choose the device you want to update, then click “Next”.
- Wait as the SUA tool checks for any new updates to your device
- Once the SUA tool is ready click “UPGRADE” to begin the process.
- The software will begin to be dowloaded.
- Once the software is downloaded the toll will being to updated the device.
- Upon update completion the "Update "Success" screen will show, click finish to complete the update and close the application.
SURA – Emergency Mode Repair
- If your device doesn't power on, you can click the “try a repair” button.
- Read the "Software Repair" carefully (The repair process will cause data loss). Once you are ready to proceed click “Next”.
- Choose the device you want repair, then click “NEXT”. If the device doesn't power on, the SURA tool can’t read the device information, so you must select the device name.

- Wait as the application downloads and repairs the software for your device.
- Once the repair has been completed, you will see the success screen. Click "Finish" to complete the repair and exit the application.
SURA – Power Repair
- To update the software for your device, click “NEXT”.
- Select your device, then click “NEXT”.
- The software will begin checking for any updates.
- If there is updated software for your device, the application will begin to download any updates. If there is no updated software, or once your updated software download is complete, you can proceed to the software repair by clicking “NEXT”.
- Wait as the application begins to backup your user data.
- Once your user data had been backed up, the application will begin downloading the lasted software update and begin the repair process.
- Finish the setup wizard, then change the USB mode to “System Update” and click “NEXT” to begin restoring your data.
- Wait as you data is restored.
- Once the restore has been completed, you will see the success screen. Click "Finish" to complete the repair and exit the application.
