When you have a new voicemail message, the voicemail icon 
appears in the notification bar. Swipe down the status bar and touch it to view your notifications.
You can also change your voicemail settings by opening the phone menu-> Touch “Phone” 
-> press the menu key in the top right corner of screen -> “Settings” -> Call settings-> Voicemail, then change setting.
